I hear from one giant boy to his mini-me beside him.
They are both chuckling and conspiring together as I'm cooking up their dinner.
"There's Mama!"
They both start laughing again, one feeding off of the other like echoes in a canyon.
"What are you two doing?" I ask while flipping the chicken over to brown on the other side.
More giggles.
I whip around, and see the two of them manning my digital camera.
Peyton is chirping, "Picture!" over and over again, his face lit up with unrestrained glee.
"Now look here you two!"
*FLASH!*
"Don't mess with Mama while she's cooking!"
More laughs.
Oh the joys of boys!

Too funny! Little boys and their daddy's, oh the situations it can bring. I have a feeling this is some insight to what will be happening around my house in a year or so. And I must say you look amazing for just having a little one such a short time ago!

Ow ow, look at that hot mama! I agree with Jessica. :) And yes, boys are generally up to lots of stunts such as these, as I've learned. And I absolutely love it!
And yes, I am sorry we didn't get in touch with you guys before we headed your way. We originally thought we'd do a Fri-Mon trip and have some extra time when we were there since Monday was a holiday. Then Garrett's parents decided to join us and they flew in and out of nola, so we were packing up and driving back to nola the morning after the game and our time spent in the great state of TX was very minimal and very rushed.
BUT if we make it that way again (which I hope we do!), I will definitely let you know, I'd love to see you guys and do pictures some time if you are interested. And of course, let me know if you ever come this direction to see Troy's mom or something. Hope things are going good for you all!
