With Lions and Tigers and Monkeys, oh my!
It's a wild animal safari :-)
Each child got a box of animal crackers, a Golden Book about how the zebra got its stripes or about the tawny scrawny lion or the saggy baggy elephant, a safari animal coloring book with stickers as well as a small plastic toy animal (there was an elephant, zebra, giraffe, lion cub and tiger cub).
The party was complete with puppet making kits of a lion, monkey, tiger, elephant and bird! Peyton's friends Will and Henry are busy making a lion and a monkey with their Dad.
The best part, no scissors or glue required! The parts all had adhesive backs. Thank you Martha Stewart! Here Peyton's friends Brooke and Madi are putting together a bird and an elephant with their Mom.
And last but not least, Peyton made a tiger; which is only fitting since Troy is wearing his LSU Tigers t-shirt. The tiger was the hardest puppet to make since you had to attach each stripe and paw print individually, but it really turned out cute.
And this little sunshine was the master lady of ceremonies. She had the best view in the house! :-)
Will and Henry had a great time with their puppets!
And Peyton loved his Peter Pirate Jack in the Box from his little buddies. Chloe loved it too; they were both giggling over it later!
And of course, you can't give out coloring books without breaking out the crayons and coloring away!
Hurray for age three!
