I was putting away some papers and came across that note from the neighbor down below at LSU {see previous post for full story}. Here it is as it was initially written:
Dear Neighbor at 2015,
Hi! I'm Kim who is living in 1015.
I heard you reported of bad smell from my apartment.
Here is explanation.
Yesterday I boiled some eggs.
At the same time, I was trying to make my baby sleep.
And I totally fogot {sic} about eggs on the stove.
So the burnt eggs smell must had been going up to your apartment.
I'm so sorry about the smell.
It'll not happen unless I forget about food on the stove.
And I'll be careful from now on.
If such things happen next time would you please let me explain first?
Because it is a kind of embarrassing to have someone investigate bad smell on my house at 8:30 a.m.
Thanks.
Kim
I really did feel a little bad after we got this note- but not nearly as bad as when the Kimchi/rotten baby diaper/uncooked seafood smell continued. Thankfully, we weren't there for much longer and now Troy and I can laugh about the good old college days pre-Peyton when we were 'slumming' it in married student housing. Ahh, the memories. :-0

I seriously almost spit out my Cheerios. That entire story is hilarious (not while it was happenning, I am sure) and I vaguely remember Troy mentioning this in school.
Congrats to you Troy on passing another Bar exam! And congrats on the house!
Wow gotta love it! That smell I can only imagine how horrific it was. I hate even the smell of eggs much less burnt. Don't get me wrong the are good to eat, but boy do they smell :)
