An Egg-cellent Tale

Once upon a blustery spring morning, a little boy came upon a park that was covered with Easter eggs. He didn't know what they were all doing there, but it looked awfully fun to pick them up and look at them. When the 'All Clear' was announced, he went hunting with other little boys and girls and came out victorious with his wicker basket laden with secret trinkets.

Inside the pastel colored eggs, he found plastic tops that he could spin, pirate eye patches, compasses that always pointed due North, mini erasers, temporary tattoos and stickers as well as a caramel and a tootsie roll thrown in for good measure too.

His cherubic faced baby sister didn't know what all the fuss was about so instead of worrying her pretty head about such silly things, she was content to be carried about and to let the sunshine and cool breezes playfully flit through her pig tails. The fun was over as quickly as it had begun and the little boy and the baby girl went bouncing along home shaking each egg in the basket and wondering what new treasures would be found inside.

'Next year', thought the sweet faced baby, 'I'll find some bright colored baubles of my own'. She thought of this as she drifted off to sleep wrapped in her favorite blanket.

The End.

That is an egg-scellant tale. We get to live that same tale tomorrow. I hope the weather is as nice as yours looked.
