In wide open spaces, across quiet meadows and along side busy highways; spring has sprung from Mother Nature's beautiful palette.
This delicate little flower is blooming too. Her eyes are always shining, she carries a smile tucked into the corner of her sweet little lips, and she is growing by leaps and bounds.
Together, these two add color and light to my life. I love to inhale them and breathe in their scent. Once tiny enough to cradle in the crook of my elbow, they are shooting up into the full limbs of children. They are babies no more.
If only I could pause time and always hold them while they are so sweet and little. Just as I wish I could pick wildflowers and have them always stay as fresh and as beautiful as they are in the spring.
