Welcome Fall!

It's pumpkin carving, pie baking, cider drinking, sweater wearing, blanket snuggling, crisp leaves, cool breeze, fire crackling season!
And here are my two favorite friendly little skeletons enjoying a brief respite from all of the wet weather we've been having.

True to his shirt, this one has discovered the joy of all things candy. He will often ask for "Emm Emm's" which are M&M's of course! We have the fun size packs of plain M&M's and he will request a bag for himself and another for his Mom (I hear she doesn't mind that at all!)

Mr. Cheese Mr. Skeleton sure loves to be outside. I sure hope he doesn't scare the neighbors!

This little skeleton has a big heart (both on her outfit and in all actuality). We've been loving her baby giggles and toothless smiles that she gives us.

Don't you just want to squeeze her and kiss those fat little cheeks?!

Sheer excitement here. I'm not sure about what though! Maybe he's practicing for Trick-or-Treating!

This little guy isn't a baby anymore. Now that Chloe is here, he looks MONSTEROUS compared to her!

The best part about these skeletons? I could never lose them! They glow in the dark after all!

Happy Halloween!

Such cuties!! This weather has been driving me crazy, it's nice that you had a clearing in the skies to capture such a sweet moment.

Hey Lexi!

Great pictures of the kids!

However, I couldn't help noticing you have one of my favorite Baton Rouge bands on your playlist - Eames Era! I've seen them in concert in Baton Rouge upteen times (when I was in law school). They are AWESOME!

Hi Lexi! It has been so much fun catching up with what is going on in your life via your blog. Your kids are adorable. I love the skeleton outfits. My kids all wear skeleton pajamas that glow as well and they love turning off the lights.

I am making your pumpkin gingerbread recipe as a treat to start off a fun weekend full of pumpkin carving and warming by the fire and thought of you. Thanks for the great recipes. Also, it is so much fun to read your blog. I love how you express yourself. You are an exceptional writer.

I send all of my best to you in Texas. It looks like you are finally all settled. Congrats!! We just moved to Michigan and have major projects to complete on our house, plus the unpacking of too many boxes for me to want to mention, ugh! Did I mention that I am freezing to death:)?

You are from Alaska, so I guess I can't complain to you.
