Pizza anyone?

It all started in September.

Troy had his 30th birthday party and requested one of his favorite kinds of cake; cookie cake. So we went down to the Nestle Toll House store at the Firewheel Mall about one week before his party and ordered one.

Once it was time for cake, we all sang the obligatory 'Happy Birthday' and Troy blew out his candles. Then we sliced up the cookie cake and devoured every tasty bite.

Peyton was perplexed about this whole situation. Cookie in a pizza box?

So from that point forward, when he sees a pizza box, he thinks that there are cookies inside.

Likewise, when he sees cookies, he thinks that it's 'pizza's!'

When watching Sesame Street during the opening credits, he'll yell out 'Pizza's'! when Cookie Monster comes on screen eating his chalk art cookies.

Yesterday he asked for 'pizza's' when he saw the bag of Oreo's that were left over from making the crust of a Banana's Foster Cream Pie on Saturday.

And if you correct him or ask, "Do you mean cookies?" he'll shake his head and say, "No, PIZZA'S!"

So there you have it.

Cookies are really 'Pizza's'!
