Thank you to every one who voted on my poll about Chloë's name! We've decided to keep the dots over the 'e' for now but we've chosen not to put it on any government documents so that way Chloë can decide for herself if she wants to keep the dots {or not} in the future.
For the most part, we imagine that people will spell it without the dots over the 'e'... and I'm fine with that. I think it just gives her name a little character
with them but I still think it is a precious name with
or without the added embellishment.

Just remember, the "dots" are an umlaut which is a pronuciation guide (and probably not used over the last vowel) so the name would not be said the way you intended.
Your Miserable Old Uncle Bruce
I love the dots. I spelled my name "Staci" all through High School, just so I could draw cool swirls and hearts to dot it with! I'm sure Chloe will do the same when she's doodling her name in the FAR future.
By the way, I just found a pack of felt flowers, paper blossoms and buttons at Hobby Lobby that I'll be using to copy those felt barrettes you got. I'm such a nerd.
I feel the same way about Peyton. It is weird to see him growing up over the internet now. Every time I see him I think, "He's getting so big!"
Well, we'll be in Dallas Thursday, April 23 and leaving Sunday the 26th. We'll be in meetings all day Friday and Saturday (during the day). I'm not sure if we're driving our car or if we're riding with Dr. Guillory. But we ARE going to get together with you guys at some point:)
