♥ Mimi's Custom Totes ♥

Mimi made my diaper bag for Peyton before he was born. I adored that bag and basically wore it to pieces and still got compliments on it 2 years later when it was ragged with holes and the handles were shredded and falling apart.

The following year after I had first bought my treasured tote, I bought my Mom her very own bag for Mother's Day because I just loved my diaper bag so much.

Now it's time to choose a new bag since my old one served me well and is now resting in peace somewhere.

So...

New bag + new fabric = new dilemma.

If you look at Mimi's site, you'll notice that she likes to pair two patterns together. One is the master fabric which draws the eye in and the other one is the secondary fabric which is usually the more subtle of the two so you can have a monogram or a name embroidered on it if you wish.

The floral patterns below are the ones I'm debating about using for the master pattern and the polka dotted patterns are the secondary fabrics.

Which one catches your eye?

Also, do you like patterned diaper bags or do you prefer a more subtle selection; perhaps an over sized purse that will fit all of baby's needs instead?

I like either of the red prints with the red polka dots.
At first I use a diaper bag, but then I switch to a smaller bag, maybe a purse, tote, whatever.
I've had big diaper bags (I have a big red one right now, not my fav, but my fav. had to be returned b/c it was really too small), small ones, handmade ones bought at boutiques, totes from American Eagle, a messenger bag from Limited. Bart, Ethan, and I went to a surprise birthday at a resturant and I crammed a diaper, wipes, outfit change, and a bottle into a SMALL purse.
Just get what says "LEXI"

I happen to personally love #3 paired up with the green dots. But I love red too, so #4 with the red dots would be gorgeous too. :) Don't think you can go wrong, and I remember everyone loving your bag with Peyton, but I never knew where you got it...but now I do! :) And as for me personally, I can't quite decide which is best for me...I am constantly changing my mind and going back and forth. Which makes me think something in between the big huge bag and the small purse would be ideal.

Oh, and PS, I really am going to get a post together for you, I promise. I haven't forgotten about it, just been crazy busy. Coming soon, I promise! :)

Blue red and grey...definitely.

So, we'll be in town tomorrow. We don't know our itinerary yet, so it might be a spur of the moment, "We're free!" type thing. We don't have a car, so we might have to call for a Hummer taxi:) We'll call when we know more. Love ya!

I like the last two together. After all, red goes with everything, right? My current diaper bag is FILTHY, but I love it. I don't know if I should just throw it in the wash or hand wash it (which I dread doing). Holly and Jamie's friend Erica made me a super cute one. I got to pick out the fabric. I'll have to post a picture of it soon.

I like numbers one or two paired with the green polka dots. Are these really great diaper bags inside too? I got on her site, and they are darling loveable prints, but are the great inside with pockets, and such? Also, are the handles long enough to sling the bag over your shoulder? AND can you close the top, or is the ribbon in the way. Just thinking about kind of new bag I want for my #3. And, I'm thinking it must be something easy going and not too high maintance, as I'm sure my hands will be full with 3 kids!

Thanks! Have fun with your visitors!
